Chemistry Episode Posters
I created these posters to promote my show, Chemistry, on its Instagram page (@chemistry13g). While the Season 1 posters were created after the season aired, the Season 2 and 3 posters were released shortly before every episode was released. Each poster is designed to present an important element from each episode out of context, with the hope that it will make sense after viewing.
Poster for Sendoff (S3E8), featuring eight bowling pins, seven of which are knocked down to symbolize the seven completed episodes of the season and the one remaining.
Poster for Shakespeare (S3E7), highlighting a fictitious poster for the characters' performance of Romeo and Juliet (designed by my friend and co-creator, Devante McFarlane).
Poster for Spiral (S3E6), highlighting several poker chips and the hand that character Claude has when he, Sean, and Chuka play during the episode.
Poster for Science (S3E4), highlighting the clock which is focused on prominently towards the beginning of the episode and used to symbolize the countdown which begins at the end.
Poster for Selfish (S3E3), highlighting the laptop which Claude works with for most of the episode before briefly losing it in the library.
Poster for Separate (S3E5), focusing on Sean's copy of Romeo and Juliet, which is used as foreshadowing at the beginning of the episode.
Poster for Snarf's (S3E1), highlighting the Rick and Morty flag which is prominently featured at the beginning of the episode.
Poster for Changeover (S2E6), highlighting the poster advertising SLU tennis that appears in the episode (which I also designed).
Poster for Sandwich (S3E2), highlighting the two ancient humanoid species that characters Sean and Will research in the episode.
Poster for Covington (S2E4), featuring the emojis that characters Sean and Lawrence say represent their respective days during a particularly awkward scene in the episode.
Poster for Claudio (S2E3), featuring basketball players Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, and Luke Kennard, whom Sean and Paul discuss as being their trio's NBA equivalents.
Poster for Curry (S2E5), which features the character Claude's notebook, which is lost in the episode and spurs most of the major events thereafter.
Poster for Chuka (S2E1), featuring a supersized book of serial numbers which the titular character reads in the episode's montage.
Poster for Presentation (S1E6), highlighting the elements that the three main characters present on during the episode.
Poster for Choices (S2E2), featuring a shot glass, which represents one of several "choices" character Paul must make in the episode.
Poster for Party (S1E4), featuring a red party cup, seen frequently at the tennis party in the episode.
Poster for Pickleman's (S1E3), featuring one of the driers that Sean struggles with in the episode's montage.
Poster for Priorities (S1E5), featuring character Paul's phone on his desk, which sets up a major plot point in both the episode and Season 1 as a whole.
Poster for Project (S1E2), featuring the ball which Chuka claims he is not throwing against the wall to disturb the main characters' work.
Poster for the Pilot (S1E1), featuring a bowl of Froot Loops, which Sean sits down to eat in the series' first shot.
